Barcelona Open Schedule

The 2027 Barcelona Open runs from 12 to 18 April at the Real Club de Tenis Barcelona, in the Pedralbes neighbourhood. Known locally as the Trofeo Conde de Godó, it’s an ATP 500 clay-court event and sits right in the middle of the European clay swing, between Monte-Carlo and the Madrid Open.

Tournament dates and format

The main draw is 32 singles players and 16 doubles teams, playing outdoors on clay across nine days. Unlike some ATP events, sessions here run during the day only, on the club’s centre court, Pista Rafa Nadal, and its second show court.

Order of play

Matches on the main court, Pista Rafa Nadal, carry the day’s headline names, while a second show court runs the rest of the draw. The order of play is published the evening before each session, the same way it works at the bigger tournaments.

Picking the right day

The first few days have the most tennis on offer, with several courts running matches at once around the club grounds. The quarterfinals are a fair middle ground, with the field down to real contenders but prices still well below the final. April in Barcelona tends to be mild, around 18 to 22°C, which makes an outdoor day at the club a pleasant one regardless of which round you pick.
