Monte-Carlo Masters Schedule

The 2027 Monte-Carlo Masters runs from 3 to 11 April at the Monte-Carlo Country Club, on the clifftops of Roquebrune-Cap-Martin. It’s the opening event of the European clay swing, the first of three clay-court Masters 1000 tournaments that lead into Roland Garros, played on outdoor clay with day sessions only.

Tournament dates and format

The main draw is 56 players, with qualifying the weekend before. There’s no night session here: every match is played in daylight on Court Rainier III or one of the club’s other clay courts.

Order of play

Court Rainier III hosts the day’s featured matches, with the club’s other clay courts running the rest of the draw, particularly in the first few days. The tournament publishes each day’s order of play the evening before, and we update this page with it as soon as it’s out. There’s no roof here, so on a wet day the schedule can shift, clay courts take longer to dry out than hard courts.

Picking the right day

The qualifying rounds and the opening days are the most affordable, with plenty of tennis across the grounds and a relaxed atmosphere. The quarterfinals mark a clear step up once the draw narrows to real contenders, and Court Rainier III becomes the only court in play from there. The semifinals and final round out the tournament before it moves on to Barcelona, the next stop on the clay swing.

Monte-Carlo in April tends to be mild, typically 16 to 20°C, well suited to a full day outdoors at the club.
