Quarterfinal #1 — Court Philippe-Chatrier, day session
The quarterfinals mark the point where Roland Garros becomes a different tournament. Eight players remain in each draw. Every match from here decides who reaches the final weekend. The day session on Quarterfinal Tuesday features two women’s quarterfinals and one men’s quarterfinal on Court Philippe-Chatrier — three matches across the afternoon, each one with genuine consequence.
By the quarterfinals the draw has clarified. You know before you arrive roughly who is playing, which means you can buy closer to the date with a better sense of the match-ups. For first-time visitors who want to guarantee seeing top players in a high-stakes match, the quarterfinals are the most reliable session outside of the final weekend.
A Chatrier ticket also gives you access to all Outside Courts throughout the day, where doubles quarterfinals and supporting events continue alongside the main programme.
About Court Philippe-Chatrier
Court Philippe-Chatrier is the main stage of Roland Garros. The retractable roof — added in 2020 — means play continues in all weather. From the quarterfinals onwards, all show court singles action moves to Chatrier. Court Suzanne-Lenglen continues with doubles and supporting events but no longer hosts singles at this stage of the tournament.
Buying Quarterfinal tickets
Roland Garros tickets are distributed through the official FFT ballot, which opens in autumn each year. Quarterfinal sessions are in high demand in the ballot.
Tennis Ticket Service sources tickets from the secondary market. Prices are above face value and reflect current supply and demand. Every order comes with two guarantees: seats are always grouped in pairs, and you receive the category you ordered or a better one.
Cancellation policy
Cancellations are possible but subject to conditions. Orders cannot be cancelled within one month before the start of the tournament. For cancellations more than four months before the event, 50% of the ticket price is refunded. Between one and four months before the event, 40% is refunded. Once e-tickets have been dispatched, cancellation is no longer possible. Full details are in Article 11 of our Terms & Conditions.
