HISTORY OF THE ROLEX PARIS MASTERS

The Rolex Paris Masters have been organized since 1986. A lot has happened in these more than thirty years. For example, the Dutch duo Eltingh and Haarhuis managed to win the tournament three times. They wrote the 1994, 1996 and 1997 editions to their name.

The tournament was held on carpet, indoor, until 2006. After this edition it was switched to hardcourt, indoor.

TYPES OF EVENTS DURING THE ROLEX PARIS MASTERS

The tournament features men's singles and men's doubles (ATP). Unlike many other ATP tournaments, no WTA tournament will be played in Paris at the same time.

WINNERS ROLEX PARIS MASTERS

American Jack Sock managed to win his first ATP tournament in the highest class (Masters 1000) here last year at the expense of Serviër Filip Krajinović. The first set still went to the Serviër, but in the end Jack Sock still dragged out the win.

Record winner of the tournament is Novak Djokovic with no fewer than four tournament wins. He won the 2009, 2013, 2014 and 2015 editions.
