About Court Philippe-Chatrier
Court Philippe-Chatrier sits across four stands: Borotra, Cochet, Lacoste and Brugnon. The Brugnon stand is typically where players' families are seated. It is the only court at Roland Garros used for every stage of the tournament, from the first round through to the men's and women's finals. The retractable roof, added in 2020, means play continues in poor weather rather than being delayed.
From the quarterfinals onward, all show court matches move to Chatrier. Court Suzanne-Lenglen no longer hosts singles from that stage, which makes Chatrier the only place to see the tournament's closing rounds live.
Buying tickets: what to expect
When will I receive my Roland Garros tickets?
Between 1 and 7 days before your session, usually. First week sessions tend to go out earlier. For semifinals and finals, expect delivery the day before. For the Sunday final, that's the Saturday. We work with a large network of suppliers rather than holding all inventory ourselves, so exact seats are often only confirmed in the final days. Seats are guaranteed in pairs. If you're booking for a larger group and want everyone seated together, contact our team directly before you order.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes, under conditions. Within 7 days of booking, you can cancel for a full refund of the ticket price (the service fee is non-refundable), provided the event is more than one month away, the official ticket ballot hasn't opened within that 7-day window, and your tickets haven't been dispatched yet. Outside that window, standard terms apply: more than four months before the tournament, you get 50% back; between one and four months, 40%. Inside one month, or once tickets are dispatched, cancellation isn't possible. We can also offer store credit for 100% of your order, usable toward next year's Roland Garros or another tournament.
Why do secondary market prices change?
Tennis Ticket Service is a secondary market reseller, not the official Roland Garros box office. We source tickets through a network of suppliers, with prices set by demand rather than face value. What you're paying for is certainty: a confirmed seat without entering the official ballot, without queuing, and without the risk of missing out. Prices move up and down with demand. Once you've booked, your price is fixed. If the session gets more expensive after you order, that's not passed on to you.
How do I receive my tickets? Email, PDF, something else?
Roland Garros tickets are mobile tickets, sent through the official Roland Garros app. We need the email address linked to a Roland Garros account for each visitor, so the ticket can be transferred to them directly. One email per visitor is preferred. For children, a parent's email works fine. Visitor emails are used only to transfer tickets. We never use them for marketing, and we don't store them beyond what's needed to complete your order.
Some VIP and hospitality categories work differently and are delivered as e-tickets instead of mobile transfer. This depends on the supplier, not on us. We'll tell you which applies to your order.
Planning your visit
Not sure Chatrier is the right court for you? Compare it with Court Suzanne-Lenglen, Court Simonne-Mathieu, or the Outside Courts, or see all Roland Garros sessions in one place.
