Monte Carlo Masters Day 2 Tickets — 1st Round
Day 2 is the main first-round day. The 32 players who entered the draw directly are all now in action — including the highest-ranked players in the field. This is the day when the tournament really opens up, and the order of play typically includes multiple top-10 matches across the full session.
First-round matches on clay at Masters 1000 level tend to be more competitive than the rankings suggest. Seeds play safe, conserve energy, and feel out the conditions. Challengers play with nothing to lose. On slow clay, that creates real tennis. Days 2 and 3 consistently produce some of the closest matches of the whole tournament.
Seating and the Monte-Carlo Country Club
Court Rainier III is the show court at the Monte-Carlo Country Club. It’s surrounded on three sides by terraced seating cut into the hillside. The Lower Tier puts you close to the baseline — you can track ball spin and footwork clearly from there. The Upper Tier gives you the tactical overview. Both have views of the sea on a clear day, which is more relevant to your enjoyment than it might sound.
Day 2 tickets are available in Upper Tier, Middle Tier, Lower Tier, Prestige, and Super Category. Two tickets are always seated next to each other. For groups larger than two, seats are arranged in pairs so nobody ends up alone.
