A Day Session ticket covers matches starting around 11am, with several matches running back to back through the afternoon. An Evening Session ticket covers the night matches, usually starting around 7pm, where the tournament tends to schedule its biggest names. That difference in demand is why evening sessions carry a premium in the later rounds, even though the ticket itself covers only one or two matches instead of a full afternoon.
Why the finals don’t always cost the most
It’s tempting to assume prices climb in a straight line to the final, but the secondary market doesn’t work that way. Right now, the men’s semifinal evening session is priced higher than either final, because demand on the night depends on which players are through, not just how late the round falls in the draw. Worth keeping in mind if you’re chasing the best match for your budget rather than a specific day.
When tickets are cheapest
The first week is consistently more affordable than the second, and day sessions tend to undercut evening sessions in the early rounds. If price matters more to you than seeing a specific player, the first few days of the tournament are the best value in the draw.
