TIPS & TRICKS FOR ROLAND GARROS OUTSIDE COURTS

Outside court tickets give access to all smaller courts at Roland Garros. Here are some tips and tricks which will help you to have an amazing experience and get the most out of your tickets!

Tip 1:

Take a look at the playing schedule in advance. We suggest you take a look at the official schedule before your visit, you’ll be able to avoid any chaos and immediately go to the right court after arrival. It’s important to keep up with the latest playing schedule because it can even change hours before the game. It’s also very convenient to download the official Roland Garros app (available for iOS and Android) on your smartphone, the app helps you navigate through the complex and gives advice on how to get there.

Tip 2:

Make sure you arrive early. When buying outside court tickets your tickets are not assigned to specific seats. It’s first come first served, when you arrive early you can pick the best spot. But if you arrive late there’s a possibility the stands are already completely full and you would have to wait for a free spot. Gates usually open at 10am.

Tip 3:

Bring your own food and drinks. The food you can buy at Roland Garros is quite pricey, so we recommend you bring your own lunch or snack (since you’re allowed to bring everything you want except sharp knives and containers over 1.5 litres). Another benefit of bringing your own food and drinks is that you don’t have to leave your seat and wait in queues at food stalls.
